I'd like to say thanks for a wonderful three years of my life. Even though I'm now doing the airborne thing here at Ft Bragg, My heart goes out to the Wolfhounds. There is a greater pride felt there in the regiment than here at Ft. Bragg. 1ST Battalion, lookout! I'm trying to go home soon within a couple of years. WOLFHOUNDS!

Th nk you Wolfhounds and keep striving toward the Wolfhound directive.

Wolfhounds, I was with Co D, 1/27, from Apr 68 to about Jan 69. Iwas good friends with Bob Scotti, we were both from NY. I still keep in touch with him. I remember Ron Talarico from Tenn, Paul Krajacic from Michigan, listening to Tigers in World Series on small radio while on ambush. Sgt Borders (KIA), he would collect patches from all units to send to his kid brother in Kansas. Lt Corley (KIA) after he left our unit (LRRP or Recon). He was a West Pointer and his father was a General. Its still hard to write this after all these years.
